While i agree there are some hideous Z's out there, there are a few things you have to keep in mind. Budget, Budget, Budget. I purchased my low mileage 96 N/A in college. It was immaculate when i bought it, probably shouldnt have, but i did. Mine had never seen rain before I got it. I've still got it, but its just like any other car thats been on the road that long as a daily driver. I've got some dings in my doors, a big dent in one, and a gouge in the other all from hit and runs. Had i had the money back then i would have fixed it, however few college kids have the money to waste. Now i'm too busy paying college loans to nourish my Z with the parts it deserves. Do I intend to fix it up? Sure, when i get a house with a garage...but that will take time. Until then i'll continue to drive my "turd" and enjoy every minute of it just because its a Z, the car i always wanted. However, dont worry, if i ever happen to be in the same parking lot as you I'll be sure to hide my "turd" so i dont diminish the value of yours by association.
